Goodness, Island’s debut EP is fire. Martin Gore’s new album (as MG) is far better than I was expecting it to be. While the album of collaborations from Gábor Lázár & Mark Fell is certainly a challenging listen at times, it definitely pays off. The title alone had me hooked.

  • Island – Nokia (Crazylegs)
  • MG – MG (Mute)
  • Gábor Lázár & Mark Fell – The Neurobiology of Moral Decision Making (The Death of Rave)

Rest in Power Rashad – this new Machinedrum tribute EP is keeping your name alive. The Nochexxx album is bonkers – if you are into The Boats’ most recent albums of tape-distorted Techno, this’ll be your jam. I threw Blvck Ceiling in there because, even though it’s 2015, fuck it – sometimes you still need some Witchhouse in your life.

  • Machinedrum – Movin’ Forward: A Tribute to DJ Rashad (self-released)
  • Blvck Ceiling – Rogue (self-released)
  • Nochexxx – Plot Defender (Type)

Squarepusher’s latest is obviously the biggest profile release this week (I wasn’t super into it but, to be fair, I haven’t really paid much attention to his releases in years) but my favorite add is Flava D’s compilation of some of her classics, More Love.

I only added 1 disc’s worth of tracks from the 3 hour (!) full release of SP-MOLD’s Midden – go cop the full release for everything – so good! Also, Saturate hits hard again with the Banganagangbangers album, which you should also go cop while it’s still FREE!!
